Arbitration in the Archetyp Market
Ensuring Fair Transactions
At Archetyp Market, we work hard to uphold a reliable marketplace where sellers and customers may do business with assurance. Our committed moderation staff is available to step in and arbitrate disputes in the rare occasion that they arise, ensuring that everyone is treated equally.

Common Dispute Reasons
- Buyer did not receive the item as described in the listing
- Vendor did not receive the payment for a completed order
- Shipped item was seized or lost in transit
- Buyer or vendor account was compromised, leading to unauthorized actions
Opening a Dispute
- Navigate to the disputed order in your account's "Orders" section
- Click the "Open Dispute" button and select the reason from the dropdown menu
- Provide a detailed explanation of the issue and attach any relevant evidence
- Submit the dispute form and wait for a moderator to be assigned to your case

Dispute Resolution Process
Following the opening of a dispute, a moderator will examine the data and supporting documentation that the seller and the buyer have provided. They could use private messaging to request further information or clarification. The moderator will next decide based on the case's particulars and Archetyp Market's policies.
Possible outcomes include:
- Full or partial refund to the buyer
- Release of funds to the vendor
- Cancellation of the order and return of funds to the buyer
- Ban or suspension of the offending party's account in case of severe violations
Appeal Process
Within 48 hours of the decision, any party may file an appeal if they are unhappy with the moderator's choice. A senior moderator will review all of the information and render a final, legally enforceable decision when the matter is escalated through an appeal.
Before placing a purchase, always thoroughly check listings, seller ratings, and market regulations to reduce the possibility of problems. Keep lines of communication open with your trading partner and attempt to settle little disputes amicably before bringing moderators in.
